Identifying EMF Sources at Home

The first step in managing EMF exposure is knowing where it’s coming from. Many common household items create electromagnetic fields, especially anything that uses electricity or sends wireless signals.

Key areas to check include:

  • Bedrooms, especially around beds and nightstands
  • Workspaces and home offices
  • Living rooms with entertainment centers
  • Kitchens with multiple appliances

Items to be aware of include Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones, Bluetooth devices, laptops, power strips, and even everyday appliances like refrigerators and microwaves. Older or improperly grounded electrical wiring can also create stronger fields.

Taking a few minutes to walk through each room and noting major EMF sources will give you a clearer picture of your overall exposure.
