Special Vulnerabilities (Autoimmune, Children, Elderly)

Not everyone is affected by contaminated water in the same way.

Some groups are much more vulnerable and need stricter protection:

Children

  • Their developing bodies and organs absorb more water relative to their size.
  • Their detoxification systems are not fully mature, making them more susceptible to damage.

Elderly

  • Natural declines in kidney and liver function can make it harder to filter out toxins.
  • They may be more sensitive to dehydration and chemical imbalances.

Individuals with Autoimmune Disorders or Chronic Illness

  • Their immune systems are often already dysregulated.
  • Exposure to even low levels of contaminants can worsen symptoms, trigger flares, or create additional burdens that slow healing.

In these cases, minimizing exposure to contaminants in both drinking water and bathing water becomes a critical part of health protection — not just a luxury or optional upgrade.
