The Filtrete™ 20x20x1 MERV 14 (MPR 2500) is our preferred filter for building a HealthyHome Corsi-Rosenthal Box. When combined with a compatible 20-inch box fan, these high-performance filters create a powerful DIY air cleaner capable of significantly reducing airborne particles throughout your living space.
Designed to capture microscopic particles—including mold spores, pollen, fine dust, smoke, pet dander, bacteria, and virus-carrying aerosols—these filters provide excellent filtration while maintaining the airflow needed for an effective Corsi-Rosenthal build.
For most builds, you’ll use four or five filters, depending on the design demonstrated in our HealthyHome Corsi-Rosenthal Build Course.
