Using Results for Remediation Planning and Health Discussions

Your inspection findings can help guide:

  • Remediation planning – What needs to be removed, cleaned, sealed, or replaced
  • Contents decisions – What to keep, clean, or discard
  • Post-remediation verification (PRV) – When and how to test again to confirm cleaning was successful
  • Medical follow-up – Sharing results with your healthcare provider to support diagnosis, treatment, or disability accommodations

If you’re working with a physician or specialist, ask your IEP if they can provide a version of the report formatted for clinical use. Some professionals also offer summaries that help patients and providers work together to connect environmental findings with symptom patterns.
