Electronics, Appliances, and Jewelry

📱 Electronics and Small Appliances

Electronics are often semi-porous and can trap dust in vents, buttons, and seams. While you usually can’t immerse or wipe them aggressively, you can clean them safely with the right steps.

Cleaning Steps:

1. Unplug and power off the device.

2. Take the item outside if possible.

3. Use a hair dryer (no heat)small electronics blower, or canned air to gently dislodge dust from vents and crevices.

4. HEPA vacuum the surface and vent areas using a brush attachment.

5. Damp wipe the outer casing with a microfiber cloth and a botanical cleaner (spray the cloth, not the device).

6. Allow to dry fully before bringing indoors or reconnecting.

Do not: Spray liquids directly on electronics, immerse them, or use air washing indoors.

🧊 Kitchen & Household Appliances

For appliances like microwaves, refrigerators, and air fryers:

• Unplug and move them to a safe workspace.

• Remove and clean removable trays or parts via immersion or dishwasher if possible.

• Damp wipe all external and internal surfaces, using the quarter-fold microfiber method.

• Use HEPA vacuuming for vents and fans.

• Air wash gently in open areas if needed (e.g., coils, vents).

💍 Jewelry and Small Items

Most jewelry is solid and highly cleanable. Rings, earrings, watches, and metal or stone pieces are usually safe to clean with:

• A mild botanical soak (EC3 or diluted Branch Basics)

• A soft toothbrush for crevices

• Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a clean microfiber towel

Store cleaned jewelry in sealed containers or pouches if you’re highly sensitive.
